JOWA JOWA CHICKEN SKEWERS
Ingredients:
3 lbs of boneless skinless chicken thighs (cut into 1-1.5” pieces)
3 tablespoons of Jowa Jowa
3 tablespoons of brown sugar
3 tablespoons of Lee Kum seasoning soy sauce (this does add msg)
3 stalks of green onion (optional)
3 teaspoon of sesame seeds (optional)
9 bamboo skewer sticks
Directions:
1. Place and mix the main ingredients (minus optional) in a large mixing bowl.
2. Leave to marinate at least a couple hours or overnight.
3. Put marinated chicken pieces onto bamboo skewers.
4. Cook over medium heat charcoal grill outside remembering to rotate and turn every few minutes.
5. Cook until evenly cooked throughout (approx. 15-20 min)
6. Top with optional chopped green onion and sprinkle on sesame seeds if desired.
