GOURMET MICROWAVE SEA BASS
You can also follow video on Facebook or Instagram.
Fresh Chilean sea bass is hard to find so for my family I used an entire package of thawed frozen Chilean Seabass which I got from Costco. Thaw in fridge for the whole day and it might still be a little frozen which is fine. Rinse lightly under cold water as the water packed with fish is briny (salty).
For sauce, mix:
2 tablespoons of Jowa Jowa
1/2 cup of “Seasoned Soy Sauce for Seafood”
1/2 cup of cooking wine or sake.
4 cloves of minced garlic
2 Tbsp of ginger
3 Stalks of chopped green onion
One bunch of cilantro minced
1 tsp lime (sorry, we forgot to include this in the video)
Instructions:
In a microwave safe dish add desired amount of:
• Bokchoy
• Mushroom
• Optional: Perilla Leaves (Chopped - we did not include this in the video, but discovered that it’s delicious if you love perilla leaves like we do)
• Red/Orange/Yellow Mini Bell Peppers
• Place fish down flat (not stacked) on microwave safe dish.
• Pour sauce all over fish and any optional vegetables of your desire.
• Cover plastic wrap over and seal to microwave on high for 11 min. Be careful of steam when opening and serve.
• Make sure to make plenty of rice -this dish is aka “rice killer”
